Croydon bespoke log cabin.

Based on the ever popular aylesbury log cabin kit this is a bespoke log cabin reduced to 2.5m ridge height to comply with planning rules for England. The central partition normally included in the Aylesbury was removed in this bespoke version to create one large open space which is to be used as a gym. It is fully insulated and could easily be used as a home office at some later date.

There are plenty of potential new customers in Felixstowe with a wealth of wooden buildings on the seashore. We can build bespoke huts to precise dimensions to meet regulations with the option of shutters for windows if required.

Installed with roof and floor insulation, double glazing and 44mm walls this log cabin kit is ideal for use all year round.

Celotex insulation in the roof and floor. Flooring is 18mm tongue and grooved spruce followed by 50mm celotex insulation boards and then 18mm OSB 8 x 4 boards.

Croydon bespoke gym - log cabin kit

This week we feature an installation in Croydon, Greater London. In this case the base was already there. We supplied a bespoke log cabin designed to maximise the space available and also incorporated a reduced maximum height of 2.5m to conform with the new planning rules in England.



The first challenge was simply to get this cabin on site. In the end the easiest option was over this wall!

Based on our Aylesbury log cabin kit this log cabin is bespoke 44mm walls, double glazed, designed to precise dimensions to make the most of the space available and reduced to 2.5m maximum height.

We installed the cabin,fitted roof and floor insulation. First fix electrics is also in place to reduce exposed cabling or trunking within the log cabin.

The main purpose of this log cabin is a fitness room or personal gym though over time it may evolve!

Heidi our client was chief photographer (a hundred pictures or more), tea maker and able assistant and we hope to have more pictures soon.
